Did a dame really say those things?! Old interview shows Angelina Jolie talking about sex in trucks, breaking into cars and Brits being naughtiest behind closed doors

 

When Angelina Jolie was made an honorary dame by the Queen at Buckingham Palace earlier this month, she is sure to have kept the small talk steered towards her recent work campaigning to end rape in war zones. 

It's a far cry from the typical conversations that accompanied her visits to the UK at the beginning of the 21st century, when a mischievous Angelina openly talked abut having sex in cars and even how long it would take her to steal an automobile. 

In an unearthed interview with Loaded magazine from August, 2000 that took place in London, the playful star openly talks about issues that would make any actress these days blush - even discussing the naughty nature of Englishmen behind closed doors.

In the chat, which has been reissued in this month's Loaded magazine, Angelina, now 39, revealed the reason behind her almost entirely black wardrobe -  a trend of hers that has remained until this day.

The mother-of-six, who was 25 years old at the time also explained that unlike other people, she didn't see sex as something dirty.

She said: 'I don’t see sex as this horrible dirty thing, I see it as a connection with another human being.

'If I spent enough time with someone I could find them attractive, even an Englishman - behind closed doors, you’re the insane ones.' 

 

The actress, who had just finished filming the film Gone In Sixty Seconds with Nicholas Cage also revealed that while an Englishmen could (potentially if she had been around one long enough) be a turn on, cars were one of the things that really turned her on. 

She said: 'When you’re at one with the steering wheel and the gear stick and you’re racing around kerbs, that’s very sexy.

'Or to be driven by someone, and they accelerate… that’s sexy too.' 

When asked whether she had ever had ever 'had it off' in the car, she replied: 'Of course, I’m an American for God’s sake! It’s part of our culture. 

'Those big leather seats… oooh.'

On the subjects of cars, Angelina was also pretty confident about her ability to hijack a motor equipped with just a coat hanger, a spark plug and half a tennis ball.

Although it sounded more like she was talking about sexual intercourse again than committing grand theft auto. 

She said: 'Depends on the car. I could do it but I really love cars so I wouldn’t want to scratch the paintwork.

'I'm sure I could break a window or jam the door open but hey it’s always better to stick it in slowly... open it up gently, jiggle those alarms and take your time. 

'Know what I mean?'

But despite her x-rated conversation, Angelina insisted she was still baffled by why people saw her as dark and dangerous. 

She said: 'I have this ‘bad girl’ image but I’m just more honest than people would like me to be. 

'I'm certainly not a bad person. But of course I can be really bad when I want to!

'People think I’m so serious and f***** up and that I wear black because I’m so dark and cool, but I wear black because I spill stuff on myself all the time.

'I’m just silly.'
