9 Signs The Kardashians Have Slowly Taken Over The World

I would say the Kardashians are actually famous for nothing. I mean, we cant actually pinpoint their talent. Anyways, they are famous and there is nothing we can do about it, and not just famous, they are arguably the most talked about family in the world. And yes, they have taken over the world. An analysis by TheRichest gives us reasons why the Kardashians have slowly taken over the world. Read it after the cut..

 9. Famous For Being Famous

The family (namely Kim) receives tons of flak for being famous for no real reason, and are perpetually parodied on many comedy shows, but with all that fame, comes all that power. Although the origins of the Kardashian broods fame can really only be traced back to one little infamous sex tape, the entire family, 3 generations worth, is today known by the free world on a first name basis. Admit it, KKK makes you think of only two things. The Ku Klux Klan or Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian.

 8. The Kardashian Brand

The Kardashians have become so famous that they have cleverly managed to take advantage of their popularity by successfully branding themselves. They sell everything from designer clothing out of their DASH! boutiques, to bottled water, which Kim explains in an interview sells out constantly because their image is featured on the bottle and fans consider them collector’s items. Kim Kardashian recently revealed that she is planning to release a book of selfies, titled Selfish in April 2015, which will no doubt sell out among die hard Kim Kardashian fans.

 7. Immensely Popular Kim Kardashian App

Kim Kardashian teamed up with Glu mobile to endorse the app Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, which was released in July of 2014, and raked in hundreds of millions of dollars in just the first month ($85 million of which the socialite was able to pocket). An EPA Office of Water was caught playing the game when she accidentally tweeted her progress. An author at jezebel.com admits to having spent nearly $500 on just the first few times of playing the addicting game. Before Glu decided to partner up with Kim in order to increase the popularity of the app, the game was known as Stardom: The A-list and was virtually unknown and not nearly as lucrative until Kim’s association. The game is frequently among the top 10 most downloaded and top earning games in the app store.

Game cheat: if you set the time in your phone to hours ahead, you can level up on energy without having to spend a dime on in-app purchases. You’re welcome.

Kim’s relationship with Rap superstar Kanye West, instantly took her from Z-list reality television star, to A-lister, practically over night. The pair have become the most talked about couple ever since, and their marital union has brought their combined net worth to $184 million. Kim has gone so far as to hyphenate her last name to include West, a move she has never previously done with her first two marriages. Kanye has mentioned in interviews that he intends to use his connections within the realm of high fashion to open doors for his wife. The couple’s wedding photo is ranked as the most liked picture on Instagram, with over 2.4 million likes. The pair welcomed a daughter in 2013, and the trio are frequently photographed in matching outfits while out on the town.

The popularity of Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney has trickled down to their younger half siblings, 17 year old Kylie, and 19 year old Kendall Jenner, who are just as talked about as their older sisters. The two teenagers spent their lives growing up on the reality show, and frequently admit in interviews to being so accustom to the fame and attention that they really wouldn’t know what to do without it. Rumors of a Jenner spin-off were a buzz until Kendall confirmed that she was more interested in pursuing a modeling career of her own, than in continuing with the reality TV family tradition.

As the saying goes, no publicity is bad publicity, especially when you have a clothing line to promote. For the Kardashians, headlines translates into sales sales sales, as well as ratings.
