This afternoon gossip blog Linda Ikeji reported that her paps at the scene of the Headies Awards spotted Wizkid angrily leaving last night’s Headies Awards because he wasn’t given a seat at a private table…
The story even had photos of Wizkid allegedly leaving the event midway through it.
He must have left for another reason though because Wizkid quickly went on his Twitter to shut down the reports! See what he wrote after the cut...

Wizkid said,
"Reports making rounds is I walked out of the Headies “angry”.. I respect the Headies and its organizers nd no I didn’t. It’s not easy doing shows like that in Nigeria with little or no sponsorship so let’s give that credit to the “Headies” for always doing it"
Inspite of their public war of words this year, Wizkid also went ahead to congratulate his pop rival on his win, saying
"And congratulations to last nights winners @olamide_YBNL @iam_Davido @patorankingfire and everyone that won! Blessings!"
